Coach travel like you've never done it before, in amazing New Zealand

Imagine…

A tour coach, designed for both luxury and comfort.

Leather seats, with only one on each side of the aisle. No need to fight for the window view.

Your own storage compartment for your books and other essentials.

Your own powerpoint, to charge your phone or camera.

Your own headphones, connected to a sound system with nine channels.

A galley in the centre of the coach to get ice cold water and snacks.

Three TV screens, so you never have to crane your head to watch. Plus - there’s wifi. On the bus.

No, it’s not a fantasy.

It’s the Ultimate New Zealand Tour.

And it really is the Ultimate

Now, I have just got back from this tour. I am still in awe of how well done the whole thing is.

The layout of the bus means that everyone on the coach can see the front windscreen, from the drivers point of view. So you’ll be coming around a corner and bam! - there’s a stunning mountain. Right there.

The whole tour includes full commentary, it really is a great way to see and learn about both the North and South Islands.

We stay in some of the best motels in the country.

The whole tour, from start to finish, is world class.

Unrivalled natural beauty

New Zealand is the best place to go for ‘scenic touring.’ It’s one of those places where you’re not in a rush to get to your destination, because the drive there is just so beautiful.

I’ve been a couple of times, so I generally know what is coming around the corner, before we see it. And yet, even though I was expecting many of the major landmarks, they still took me by surprise with their majestic presence.

And boy, do they know how to build mountains over there. Mt Cook even showed off a bit of snow, so it was particularly stunning.

A hot shot Itinerary

The Fox Glacier, Franz Josef Glacier, Lake Tekapo, Canterbury Plains, Rainbow Springs… we don’t do things in halves.

We take the TranzAlpine, back to Christchurch. This is regarded as one of the world's great train journeys, for the scenery.

There is even an opportunity to take a scenic flight around the Southern Alps, or a jet boat ride on the harbour in Queenstown.

We go through Malbrough Country (for those wine enthusiasts) and cruise through the Bay of Islands in a luxury catamaran.

And one of my absolute favourites and a definite one to have on your bucket list, Milford sound.

We hop on a boat that takes you right into the middle, so you have the best view - and you don’t miss a thing.

And another gem is the geothermal wonderland of Rotorua! It just has so many fantastic activities to jump on - a gondola ride, a luge ride and the sensational hot springs.
